ABOUT GEIA

Building trust into ecological restoration.

GEIA was founded on a simple belief. The future of ecological restoration will not be defined by the number of projects we create. It will be defined by how much those projects can be trusted.

That's why we develop our own high-impact ecological restoration projects while building the trust infrastructure that allows every decision, every claim and every outcome to be understood, verified and preserved. We build restoration projects to prove that Geoblocs works.

Our Mission

To create a new standard for ecological restoration by combining real-world projects, structured evidence and transparent verification into a single living truth layer.

Our ambition is simple:

  • Projects that improve people's lives.
  • Projects that strengthen local economies.
  • Projects that restore biodiversity.
  • Projects that anyone can trust.

People

We believe ecological restoration begins with people. Every project is designed alongside landowners, Indigenous communities and local stakeholders to create long-term stewardship and meaningful social value.

Prosperity

Healthy ecosystems should also create resilient local economies. We develop projects that generate lasting environmental and economic value through responsible investment, transparent funding and long-term stewardship.

Nature

Biodiversity is not an outcome we assume. It is something we measure, monitor and continually improve using science, local knowledge and transparent evidence.

Why We Exist

Ecological restoration has no shortage of ambition. What it often lacks is trust. Too many projects rely on disconnected reports, isolated datasets and claims that become difficult to verify over time.

GEIA exists to change that.

By combining ecological expertise with structured knowledge, independent verification and AI-ready evidence, we are building the infrastructure that allows restoration projects to remain transparent, credible and useful for decades to come.

Beyond Project Development

GEIA is more than a project developer. Our restoration projects are living laboratories.

Every woodland, river corridor and community partnership helps us refine the systems behind Geoblocs, improving how ecological knowledge is captured, organised and shared.

In doing so, every project contributes not only to healthier ecosystems but also to a stronger global standard for ecological transparency.

Who We Are

GEIA is a global network of ecologists, foresters, Indigenous knowledge holders, restoration practitioners, technologists, designers and data specialists. We work across disciplines because ecological restoration is not just an environmental challenge—it is a social, economic and technological one. Together, we are building the next generation of trusted ecological infrastructure.

Our Philosophy

No provenance no value.

Because ecological restoration deserves nothing less.
