The Rectory Pollinator Forest
The Rectory Pollinator Forest is restoring 1.5 hectares of former managed grassland at The Rectory, Castlemagner, County Cork into mixed native woodland and wildflower meadow, in partnership with landowners Donovan & Linda Leitch. Designed to support biodiversity, pollinators, and long-term ecosystem health, it combines species-led woodland planting with careful site management to ensure resilience over time.
